Tools Tried is a one-person publication about AI tools — written by the person who uses them.
Every tool covered on this site earns its place the same way: it gets used in real, day-to-day work first — running a one-person business, producing content, and handling the customers and admin that come with both. If a tool was only demoed for an afternoon, the article says so. If it is part of the daily stack, the article says that too.
What you will find here: hands-on reviews, honest comparisons, pricing checked against the vendor’s own pages, and a bias toward small stacks that actually get used, over long lists of subscriptions that don’t.
Tools Tried is reader-supported. Some links are affiliate links, which means a commission may be earned if you buy through them — at no extra cost to you. Commissions never buy rankings: tools are ordered by how useful they proved to be, not by what they pay.
